ABOUT OUR WORKSHOPS

Workshops are a great way to deepen your practice allowing time for you to explore particular groups of poses in detail, learn about yoga philosophy, or spend time on specific aspects of yoga such as meditation and pranayama. They are the perfect complement both to classes and to a home practice, offering inspiration, insight and focus.

Every year we invite some of the world’s most renowned international yoga teachers to teach at HOME with instructors such as David Swenson, Jill Miller, Sarah Powers and Tiffany Cruikshank regular visitors.

We also offer special workshops on Friday evenings and Saturday and Sunday afternoons with our incredible family of HOME teachers. Subjects range from introductions to specific styles of yoga that you may not have tried such as 4Beat and Yin Yoga, to handstands, restorative yoga, crystal singing bowls and beyond…

ABOUT OUR COURSES

BEGINNERS’ COURSES

Our 6-week beginners’ courses enable you to build your yoga or Pilates practice week by week in a supportive group environment. Honing in on the foundational elements such as breathing, healthy alignment and mental focus, a beginners course is a solid foundation from which to explore our Open Level or Level 1 classes.

TYPES OF BEGINNERS’ COURSES

We offer Beginners’ Courses in Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Iyengar Yoga and Pilates.

SPECIAL COURSES

Some yoga-related subjects are best shared week-by-week in a more structured way so from time to time we hold courses on topics ranging from yoga philosophy to hand-standing.
